Focusing On The Goals Ahead

It's another year of opportunities, a year of growth both as individuals and as a business. There are a few goals that has to be met this year and I hope I will stay focused.

One of which is that I will be able to learn HTML in a span of 1 month, by the end of February. This January 2008 is more on planning for the year ahead and maybe finishing on my SEO tutorial that I started about mid-November 2007. Then applying what I learned and talk about it here so I can either give advice or be given one.

I have to admit it is really going to be a problem with me, staying focused, but knowing why I have to do it would be the fuel.

Welcoming Year 2008

Been busy for the rest of December 2007, which is why we haven't posted anything. The new year is fast approaching and we are welcoming it with a promise of opportunities.

This 2008, we will strive to learn more and apply that knowledge to reach our goals. We should be focused on that goal until we have reached it one by one. Though the road will be hard and we might fall, we will stand and move on, learning on those mistakes which will make us stronger and wiser in the process.

Happy New Year!

Our Journey To Entrepreneurship Part 2

There were a lot of things to consider and most especially a lot to learn. This time we are going to take this journey to being entrepreneurs more slowly and as they... surely.

I got a job in the internet last quarter of 2006 which has given me the opportunity that was shelved about 7 years ago. I really appreciate being given that chance, I got to learn some aspect of search engine optimization (SEO) and even some blog writing.

I am currently studying more about the SEO skills and in time delve on HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash and others that will help us in the internet. We have a goal to pursue and hopefully it will all workout this time around.

Our Journey To Entrepreneurship Part 1

A lot of us dreamed of having our own small business to run but sometimes we end up not just brokenhearted but altogether broke. I don't know where this will lead, I don't even know where to begin.

I would like to ask that you bear with me on this part, both of us are engineering graduates and had our ups and downs in our careers. I am a stay at home wife and mom when I got pregnant to our first child. I already thought of making money through the internet that was the year 1999 but I don't really know how to go about it. There was really a lot of information and so called opportunities. I did succumbed to one that year a typing job of some sort, placing ads about the opportunity which when you come to think of it doesn't really make sense but more on recruiting many others that will do the same thing. I gave up on my dream to pursue a business through the internet when my eldest child came. Though I didn't get to make money out of the internet, I still do research and chat with my family and friends.

We went to start on a small business that is in line with food, that was a learning experience, it taught us a lot. I forgot something along that way as a start up entrepreneur, we should have sticked to what we already know and where we have some expertise of some sort. Both of us have computer skills and we should have enhanced it to accommodate the new trends that were coming.

I thought, "if only..."
